I've been in a funk ever since I saw the movie.AmbaChanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06348711916817855465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-659530131225113034.post-92204883469500427762011-07-19T18:18:58.255-04:002011-07-19T18:18:58.255-04:00I didn't exactly have an ideal childhood. Hell...I didn't exactly have an ideal childhood. Hell, who did? My parents got divorced, I bounced around houses, schools, friends... the one constant thing I had in my life was Harry Potter. No matter what was going on I could always escape to his world. I grew up with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I felt like I knew them, like they were my friends. At any time, I could just send them an owl and they'd be there. But now it's over. In the 10 hours it took me to read through Deathly Hallows, I felt my safety net slip away, because this was it. There was nothing after this. The movies helped fill the void for a time, but as anyone who's actually read the books know, it's not the same. This movie, in both it's parts, is a masterpiece. It brought back all the old feelings I had reading the books. The same void is back now, because it's over again, and I don't know what to fill it with. I can't fathom the idea that another series will touch me as deeply as this one did, and I almost don't want one too.AmbaChanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06348711916817855465noreply@blogger.com
